What is the SumLilThings subscription?

SumLilThings Subscription is a monthly subscription service that is exclusively designed and packed just for you! Each month, a theme is picked by our subscribers and coordinating kits, stationery, and planner accessories are hand drawn and designed to fit the theme.

When can I sign up?

We open enrollment from the 17th at 12pm PST to the 30th (or 31st) of each month. Please note that we have limited inventory for all the subscription packages and we may sell out during the enrollment period. We recommend enrolling earlier than later!

When do you reveal the theme and content?

Theme and content reveal of the subscription will happen 1 week before the 17th. However, we sometimes will not have the items on hand before enrollment happens, in which case, we will provide digital images or mock ups of the products so you know what to expect. Current subscribers will receive a preview email 1 week before the recurring charge on the 15th.

How does payment or renewals work?

Your first subscription will be charged on the day it is placed. All sequential billing will automatically occur on the 15th of every month. If you need to change, edit billing or cancel your subscription, you must do so by the 14th, 11:59pm PST. If you cancel after you have been charged for the month, you will receive the final kit you were billed for and will not be charged for future months. No cancellations or refunds if your charge has already gone through.

When does subscription ship out?

Subscription kits will begin shipping on the last day of each month to the first full week of the following month. In the event of a delay in shipment, subscribers will be notified via email or social media. Please note the above timeframe is the START date of processing, which usually lasts 5-10 days (up to 15 days if you combined orders).

What are custom fee, duty taxes & VAT?

Customs fee, duty taxes, and VAT are buyer's responsibility. For UK customers, current VAT tax for UK customers are 20% of the entire order amount (includes shipping cost). For EU customers, any customs and handling fees must be paid when your order arrives in your country, you may need to pick up your order at the local post office. We will not collect VAT during point-of-sale.

How much is shipping?

Shipping rates are dependent on the most updated market rates as well as the overall weight of the subscription, which changes month to month. Shipping rates may change without prior notifications. 

We are NOT responsible for lost or damaged package. Once your item has been marked shipped, we no longer have control of it. You can purchase insurance via Route during checkout if you are worried about your package getting lost or damaged. 

How do I change my address or payment?

You can change your address or payment information via the subscriber portal which can be accessed via your account (log in >> manage subscription). Important note - you can ONLY change your address via the portal before the 15th of the month. If the subscription order has already gone through for the month, please email us at misfitcrewsub@gmail.com with any address changes. Any address changed made cannot be guaranteed if the shipment has been shipped out already. 

What is your cancellation or change policies?

You MUST cancel or make changes to your subscription before 11:59pm PST on the 14th (renewal date is 15th of every month). You can cancel your subscription at any time via your subscription portal but please note once your renewal has been processed, we are not able to cancel or refund you for that current month. We will be able to cancel your subscription moving forward, but you will not be able to cancel the current month if your renewal has been placed.

Can I skip my subscription?

No, but you can cancel anytime. If you do not like this month's theme, you are feel to cancel your subscription. If you cancelled and change your mind, feel free to email us at misfitcrewsub@gmail.com or sign up again during our enrollment period.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Log into your account, click "manage subscriptions" then select the subscription you want to edit. Click "edit" and then select "cancel".

If you cancel after your subscription has renewed on the 15th, you will still receive that month’s subscription, but it won’t renew for any following months. If you cancel before the renewal date, you will not receive the upcoming subscription or be billed for any others. 

How do I swap or add to my subscriptions?

You can change your subscription at any time. Log into your account, click "manage subscriptions" then select the subscription you want to edit or swap. Click on the product and then make your changes. If you want to add additional subscription boxes, please email us at misfitcrewsub@gmail.com

If you change your subscription selection after your subscription has renewed on the 15th, the change will not take effect until the following month. Please note, your new selection will replace your original selection and will continue until you switch back.

How do I get early access?

All active subscribers are given a secret password to access the website when it is closed to the public. Password to the shop changes every month during renewal date (15th) and all active subscribers will receive a password when subscription renews on the 15th. As of February 2023, there will no longer be a separate Secret Shop page for subscribers to access. Instead, subscribers will be given password to shop the website when it is closed to the public.

When and where do I get my discount code?

You can find your exclusive discount code in the automatical renewal email sent once your charge has been successfully process on the 15th of each month. For new subscribers, you can find the discount in the automatical subscription sign up email you received once you have sucessfully signed up. Please note that cancellation of your subscription will result in IMMEDIATE loss of all benefits and perks.

How do I become an Honorary subscriber?

In order to become a Honorary misfit crew subscriber, you must be subscribed for 9 active subscription months within a calendar year. If you cancel your subscription and resubscribed at a later time, you will be considered as "inactive" and your active subscription will restart at 1 count.

How do I combine additional orders with my subscription?

You will receive a secret "code word" in your subscription email with instructions on how to combine your additional order with subscription.

** 15% discount and annual gift are given to honorary subscribers only (honorary subscribers are those who has been consecutively subscribed for 9 months in a calendar year)

Subscription FAQ

Subscription kits will begin shipping on the last day of each month to the first full week of the following month. In the event of an unforeseen delay in shipment, subscribers will be notified via email. *If you signed up for September, you will receive the September kit in October.

Shipping rates are dependent on the most updated market rates as well as the overall weight of the subscription, which changes month to month. Shipping rates may change without prior notifications. 

United States: starts at $5.00 USD with tracking. If you order multiple kits, shipping will be combined and rate will be adjusted based on weight. 

International: starts $14 USD with full tracking. If you order multiple kits, you will get combined rate shipping with tracking. This shipping method is our first class package option with estimated delivery time of 1-4 weeks.

*Subscribers who are changing their address from U.S. to international or vice versa, please contact us at misfitcrewsub@gmail.com so we can adjust your rate.
