Once your subscription has been billed, we cannot cancel that month's order. If you need to change your subscription type after billing, please email us at sub@sumlilthings.com. All sales are final.
While we’re happy to replace any defective or missing items, we do not offer refunds once a subscription has been billed or processed. Subscription boxes are not eligible for discount codes, gift cards, or shop offers.

A subscription means you’re signing up for a recurring service, where you’ll automatically receive a themed box of our goodies every other month - no need to reorder. Instead of buying each box individually, you subscribe once and it continues until you decide to cancel.
Our subscription plans auto-renew on the 15th of every other month, featuring a new theme chosen by us or our subscribers. All themes are non-seasonal, so you can enjoy them anytime!
👉 Your subscription is set to automatically renew until you cancel.
Subscription will start shipping at the end of the month. Below is the general timeline of our subscription:
- 15th - subscription renews at 12am PST
- 2nd to last Friday - open enrollment, secret shop opens at 12pm PST
- 28th - last day to combine orders
- 30th or 31st - enrollment closes & shipping starts (can take up to a week)

Yes! The full contents of the current month's box are revealed on our website by the 10th - you will have up until the 15th to decide if you want to renew, skip, or cancel.

Yes! Individual items are only available to current subscribers through the Secret Shop as part of the Early Access perk.
These items won’t be released to the general public until our Trove sale, which happens every six months - and some items may sell out before then.

While we don’t have full past subscriptions available, we may have extra one-time purchase boxes. You can find them in the "One-Time Purchase" section of our website.
Renewal & Shipping

Subscription begin shipping on the last day of each month to the first full week of the following month. In the event of a delay in shipment, subscribers will be notified via email or social media. Please note the above timeframe is the START date of processing, which usually lasts 5-10 days (up to 15 days if you combined orders).

All bimonthly subscription plans renew on the 15th of every other month at 12:00 AM PST. Once a subscription has renewed, we cannot modify, cancel, or skip the order.
If your payment fails on renewal day (due to insufficient funds, expired card, or other issues), an automated email will be sent so you can update your payment method. Your spot is not reserved until payment is successfully completed, and we cannot hold or guarantee availability for sold-out tiers if payment is not resolved promptly.

Shipping rates depend on current market rates and the weight of your subscription box, which can vary every bimonthly shipment. Rates may change without prior notice.
United States: starts at $5 USD with tracking. Multiple kits will be combined and shipping adjusted based on weight.
International: starts at $14 USD with full tracking. Multiple kits will also receive a combined shipping rate. Shipping is handled via GlobalPost and your local postal service for last-mile tracked delivery, with an estimated delivery time of 1–4 weeks.
Address changes: If you’re changing your address from U.S. to international or vice versa, contact sub@sumlilthings.com so we can adjust your shipping rate.
Important: We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages once an order is marked as shipped. We do keep photographic records of all processed orders. Customers can purchase insurance via Route at checkout for extra peace of mind.
What are custom fee, duty taxes & VAT?
What are custom fee, duty taxes & VAT?
Customs fee, duty taxes, and VAT are buyer's responsibility. For UK customers, current VAT tax for UK customers are 20% of the entire order amount (includes shipping cost). For EU customers, any customs and handling fees must be paid when your order arrives in your country, you may need to pick up your order at the local post office. We will not collect VAT during point-of-sale.

You can update your address or payment details at any time by logging into your account and selecting “Manage Subscription.”
Important: If your subscription has already processed for the current bimonthly box (on the 15th), changing your address in your account will NOT affect that order. In that case, please email us at sub@sumlilthings.com with your updated address. Note that we cannot guarantee changes once the shipment has been sent.

Of course! You can modify your subscription by following these steps:
- Log into your Account
- Click "Manage Subscriptions"
- Click "Edit" on the plan
- Click "Swap" and select the subscription you want to switch
Important: If you change your subscription after it has renewed on the 15th (12:00 AM PST), the swap will take effect for the next bimonthly box, not the current one. Your new selection will replace your original plan and continue until you switch again.

Can I skip my subscription?

Yes! You can skip your subscription any time by emailing us at sub@sumlilthings.com before the 15th (by 12 AM PST).
Skips are unlimited, but frequent skips can affect our small business operations. If you skip 3 consecutive boxes, your subscription will be cancelled automatically.
Important Skipping Terms:
- Skipping Deadline: If you skip before the 15th (12 AM PST) renewal date, you will not be charged, and your subscription will be skipped
- Skipping After Renewal: If you skip after your subscription has already renewed on the 15th, you will still receive that month’s box, but your subscription will be skipped the following month.
- No Refunds or Reversals: Once a subscription order has been processed, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
- Late Skipping Processing Fee: If you skip after the deadline with a pending charge, a $5 processing fee will automatically apply to remove the charge.
- Failed Payments & Account Suspension: If your payment is invalid and you skip after renewal without resolving the charge, your subscription account will be suspended.

To Cancel Your Subscription, please email us at sub@sumlilthings.com. You will receive an email confirmation once your cancellation is successful.
Please do not send cancellation request email to any other emails than sub@sumlilthings.com as they will not be reviewed.
Important Cancellation Terms:
- Cancellation Deadline: If you cancel before the 15th (12 AM PST) renewal date, you will not be charged, and your subscription will end immediately.
- Cancellations After Renewal: If you cancel after your subscription has already renewed on the 15th, you will still receive that month’s box, but your subscription will not renew moving forward.
- No Refunds or Reversals: Once a subscription order has been processed, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
- Late Cancellation Processing Fee: If you cancel after the deadline with a pending charge, a $5 processing fee will automatically apply to remove the charge.

- Re-Subscription Restrictions: Customers who cancel after the deadline may be subject to a temporary re-subscription block (up to 3 months).

Subscribers are given a secret password to access the website or Secret Shop. Password changes every month during renewal date (15th) and all active subscribers will receive a password when subscription renews on the 15th. Please note that access is tied to your subscription status, if you cancelled or skip your subscription, your access will be immediately revoked.

Your exclusive discount code is sent in the automatic renewal email once your payment is successfully processed on the 15th of each bimonthly cycle.
For new month-to-month subscribers, the discount code will be sent after your first successful renewal.
Important: Canceling your subscription will result in the immediate loss of all benefits and perks, including your discount code.

To become an Honorary Misfit Crew subscriber, you must remain continuously subscribed for the full calendar year with no skips or cancellations.
If you cancel or skip a box, your status becomes inactive, and your active subscription count will reset to 1.

Yes! As a subscriber perk, you can combine a regular order with your bimonthly subscription shipment to save on shipping. Any excess shipping paid will be refunded once your orders are processed.
Details:
- New month-to-month subscribers: This perk becomes available after your first renewal.
- Regular subscribers: You can combine 1 order per bimonthly box; it will ship together with your subscription at the end of the month.
- Honorary subscribers: You can combine an unlimited number of orders with your subscription box, all shipped together at the end of the month.
